InMemoriam.IM is a live-stream service run by Isle of Man based company Little City. We offer a specific set of services to those looking to have a cremation / funeral service live-streamed.

With costs both financial and in carbon-footprint ever rising, and with the difficulties the world is throwing up ever increasing, attending a remote or distant funeral service is proving more challenging than ever.

By offering our experience in broadcast filming, along with the very latest in live-stream secure technology, we can enable distant family members, friends and acquaintances, to witness and take part (virtually) in a funeral service.

Since August 2019 we have offered our services at the Douglas Crematorium via local Funeral Directors and directly to families.

In brief, we offer a privately secured live-stream service using up to 4 cameras, along with an on-site television (for slideshow of family photographs or movies). The live-stream is made available via a secure password-protected video link, and / or a fully digital order-of-service brochure (the live-stream is embedded within the digital Order of Service).

Bereavement is a universal experience which everyone will go through in their own unique way and for over 112 year Douglas Borough Council have offered the bereaved and their families a professional and caring service when it is needed most.

Douglas Borough cemetery was opened in 1899 with the first burial taking place on the 1st June 1899.  The provision of a crematorium was first considered in 1939 but with the outbreak of WWII no further progress was made until 1958, then, on the 12th December 1961 the Isle of Man's first cremation was carried out after the original Borough chapel had undergone the necessary changes to allow for cremations.
